The Hair Trends in 2019

  • Don’t get stuck in your same old beauty routine take it up a notch. Instead, opt for a big haircut change or add a few accessories to your style.
  • It might be intimidating to walk out the door with a giant clip in your hair, but trust us, augmenting your style is never a bad look.
  • And if you’ve been holding off that major hair length or hair color change now is the time.

  • This may be the time to try the blunt bob, a short hair mainstay that's always there when you need it. A blunt cut is when a stylist cuts straight across with scissors.
  • This cut is great to create a shaped look. Straightforward and edgy, the blunt-cut bob has minimal layering and falls somewhere around the chin. This year we have seen some lob cuts, but expect to see even shorter haircuts like the blunt bob.

  • Try barrettes we know this is certainly campy but now is the time for new inspiration from an old classic.
  • We all knew the flyest kids in elementary school had barrettes in their hair. Each day, kids were deck out in multicolored clips and butterfly pins.
  • Funny thing is, many of those looks can still be pulled off today because barrettes are just as popular now as they were in kindergarten. Stylists and celebrities have brought back the childhood accessory with bling. So trying one or two statement barrettes in your hair.

  • Crimped Waves hair was the noughties’ biggest pop hair trend in the 90's and we recently spotted it on the 2019 runways! From the runways to the red carpet, we're starting to see these uniform crimped waves on all of our hairstyle icons. It is certainly a trend on the rise again. However, it would be wrong to call it a comeback. Ultra-defined textured curls from root to tip look extremely gorgeous and if you think it’s a hard-to-achieve hairstyle, we’d like to differ.
